John Joseph Nolan III earned his undergraduate degree at California State University, Northridge in Los Angeles, California. After graduating, he attended the Southwestern University School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor in 1987. John has been practicing law for nearly 30 years. He is known as one of best expert deposition examiners in Southern California and has a deep understanding of medicine. He is a former defense medical malpractice lawyer, who has been working with Bruce for 19 years, primarily handling medical malpractice cases. John, whose father was a respected attorney in the San Fernando Valley, is the oldest of 11 children.

Melanie Khosravi graduated from University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and worked as a clinical researcher in the field of Lupus Genetics at David Geffen School of Medicine, Department of Rheumatology. Additionally, Melanie graduated from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York City with honors and a member of Sigma Sigma Phi. She completed her internship in Internal Medicine at Oklahoma State University Medical Center. There she became interested in the legal aspect of medicine and decided to further her studies in the legal field.

Kathryn received her undergraduate degree at UC Berkeley and received her law degree from Southwestern Law School’s rigorous SCALE Two-Year Accelerated JD Program. By the time she graduated from law school, Kathryn had real-world experience representing plaintiffs in personal injury, employment, immigration, and landlord-tenant matters through her externships. After taking the bar exam, Kathryn participated in the prestigious ABOTA fellowship, gaining insight into plaintiff, defense, and judicial perspectives in civil litigation and trials, with an emphasis on civility and respect in the practice of law. Kathryn has been working on medical malpractice cases since obtaining her law license, first as a defense attorney and now representing plaintiffs.
