Before entering the legal profession, Kelly spent a decade as a professional concert violinist, performing with the New World Symphony,  Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, Santa Barbara Symphony, and New West Symphony. He holds both a Master of Music and Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from the University of Southern California. Kelly earned his Juris Doctor, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of La Verne College of Law, where he received the Dean’s Merit Scholarship, was consistently named to the Dean’s List, earned multiple CALI Awards for academic excellence, served as a member of Law Review and as a Staff Editor for the Journal of Law, Business, and Ethics.  The discipline, focus, and collaborative artistry developed during his years as a musician now inform his thoughtful and precise approach to the practice of law.  Combining a deep sense of advocacy with the poise and preparation of a professional musician, Kelly brings both artistry and analytical precision to his legal practice, striving always to give voice to those who need it most.
